  2. Hi Kaysha,

I just wanted to thank you for your words of encouragment and sharing your thoughts in our discussion posts. I look forward to sharing more classes with you and I wish you the best. I tended a conference on Monday and the keynote speaker talked about changing the way that we think about ourself. Most people have negative thoughts (I can't..., there's not enough time..., I might say the wrong thing) and she told us that we need to have the positive. So I am going to leave you with these positive notes to remember. You are a beautiful person and can do anything that you set your mind to do. (I'm not saying that it will be easy)

I hope that you enjoy your career as much as I do.

  3. Kaysha, I know you have a phenomenal support system in the education field within your own family. Many people would be jealous of all that support! I know throughout your studies that you will gain more excitement for this field as well as the knowledge to help you feel more grounded and capable of doing the work. Although I genuinely believe that the best teachers are not those that are the most sound in remembrance of knowledge but those that have the desire. And your desire is there! You posted a quote that I’ve remembered “I’m doing what I think I was put on this earth to do. And I’m really grateful to have something that I’m passionate about and that I think is profoundly important”. The education field has gained someone with true passion when you’ve made this decision to switch fields and enter this wonderful journey 

I want to send BIG thanks your way for sharing you experiences during our course together. Through reading your discussion postings as well as your blog, I have had an opportunity to learn from someone who truly understands the field of early childhood education. Hopefully, we will have a class together in the near future! I wish you the best of luck in your further courses at Walden!
